Speedway Fire/Rescue is a specialty group of fire fighters, EMTs, and other individuals "Dedicated to Promoting Safety at Various Motorsports Events." Right now, we have aproximately 33 members on our active roster. We are based out of Davenport, Iowa, and we are sponsered by A-1 Fire Equipment.
Here is a list of race tracks that we normaly provide coverage to. In Iowa: Davenport Speedway, Hawkeye Raceway in Blue Grass, IA, the West Liberty Raceway, Dubuque County Speedway, Farley Speedway. In Illinois: Aledo Raceway, Bureo County Speedway, and Knoxville Raceway (yes, Knoxville, Illinois, not Iowa!). We provide coverage to additional race tracks also for special events, including the Davenport Municipal Airport for the Quad Cities Air Show.
